Call for proposals: Women’s Initiatives and Men and Boys’ Initiatives grant programs
The Department of Family Services is now accepting proposals for community-based projects that promote women’s empowerment and community-based initiatives that provide services and programs for men and boys in Nunavut.
These initiatives and/or projects are to be delivered in the 2026-2027 fiscal year and can begin any time after July 1, 2026.
Eligible applicants include community non-profit organizations, municipal corporations and/or individuals. Projects should include:
- Leadership skills.
- Wellness.
- Economic self-sufficiency.
- Employment.
- Self-reliance.
- Cultural and traditional knowledge.
Applicants must provide proof of current standing with Nunavut Legal Registries, if applicable.
Application deadline is June 30, 2026.
Not more than $100,000 will be shared on selected projects.
