Job Description

  • Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the security team, ensuring adherence to company policies and local regulations
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and implement appropriate security measures to mitigate potential threats
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans, coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
  • Monitor and analyze security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems
  • Investigate and report security incidents, violations, and suspicious activities
  • Train and mentor security staff, promoting a culture of vigilance and professionalism
  • Manage shift schedules and assignments to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency
  • Conduct regular security audits and inspections of the premises
  • Liaise with clients, employees, and visitors to address security concerns and provide assistance
  • Prepare and maintain accurate security reports and documentation

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team . As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our personnel, assets, and facilities while maintaining a professional and customer-focused environment.

  • Proven experience as a Security Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in security management
  • In-depth knowledge of security operations, risk management, and emergency response procedures
  • Familiarity with Kenyan security regulations and best practices
  • Valid security certification or license as required by Kenyan law
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in using security management software and MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Customer-oriented approach with a professional demeanor
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required
