Founded in 2010, the company collects waste from over 50,000 households and 2,000 commercial premises daily. Riverside operates a material recovery facility that processes 200 tonnes of waste per day, diverting approximately forty percent from landfill through recycling and composting. The company employs 600 staff and runs a fleet of sixty collection trucks. Riverside is licensed by NEMA and is a member of the Kenya Waste Management Network.
What you will do:
You will design and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks for the organisation's programmes, collect and analyse data, and prepare reports that demonstrate programme impact and inform decision-making. Daily tasks include developing data collection tools, training field staff on data collection methods, managing databases, and conducting data quality assessments. The role involves preparing quarterly and annual reports for donors, conducting baseline and endline evaluations, and supporting programme teams in using data for adaptive management. Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills, proficiency in data analysis software, and experience with theory of change and results-based management approaches are essential.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification in a related field
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar position
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in relevant industry software and tools
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices
