About Westmore Associates

Westmore Associates is an architectural and interior design firm that provides master planning, architectural design, interior fit-out, and project supervision services for commercial, residential, and institutional projects. Founded in 2004, the firm has designed over 250 projects including office towers, shopping centres, schools, hospitals, and residential estates. Westmore employs thirty architects and interior designers and is registered with the Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors of Kenya. The firm has won six awards at the Annual Architectural Association of Kenya Excellence Awards.

What you will do:

You will be responsible for designing and implementing training programmes, conducting training needs assessments, and evaluating the effectiveness of learning interventions. The role involves working with department heads to identify skill gaps, developing training curricula, and delivering sessions on topics such as leadership, communication, compliance, and technical skills. You will manage the training budget, coordinate with external trainers and training providers, and maintain training records for audit and compliance purposes. The position also involves supporting the performance management process, coaching managers on how to conduct effective appraisals, and helping to develop individual development plans for high-potential employees. Experience in e-learning platform management and blended learning design is an advantage.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification in a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar position
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in relevant industry software and tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams
  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices
