Key Responsibilities:
Translate documents, articles, and communications accurately while maintaining cultural nuance and context. Review translations for quality, consistency, and terminology accuracy. Lead and coordinate projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely delivery of all milestones. Develop strategies and frameworks to improve team productivity and operational efficiency. Analyze data and prepare insightful reports to support decision-making at all levels. Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Manage relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to ensure seamless collaboration.
Requirements:
Native or near-native fluency in at least two languages relevant to the African market. 2-4 years of progressive experience in Translation & Linguistics. Demonstrated expertise with industry-standard tools and methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Experience working in cross-cultural, distributed teams across Africa. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
