NAIROBI, Kenya – June 11, 2026 – IGNIS Innovation has announced 15 temporary vacancies for Enumerators to support a national clean cooking initiative targeting schools across five Kenyan counties.
The entry-level field positions will involve data collection and stakeholder engagement in Nairobi, Kiambu, Kajiado, Machakos, and Makueni. Successful candidates will work directly with school administrators and cooks to gather critical information on the adoption of cleaner, more sustainable cooking technologies.
Key responsibilities include:

Submitting detailed reports within project timelines
Applicants must hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution and have documented experience in field data collection, research, or enumeration work. Fluency in English and Kiswahili is required, while familiarity with digital survey tools such as KoboToolbox is preferred.
Candidates must be residents of their chosen county at the time of application and be prepared for regular travel within that county. Reliable transport or willingness to use public transport is essential.
