USIU-Africa Financial Aid 2026: Scholarships, Grants, and Funding for World-Class Education

United States International University-Africa (USIU-Africa) is offering multiple financial aid opportunities for the 2026 academic year, including full scholarships covering tuition, books, accommodation, and meals. The Financial Aid Office is committed to providing students with access to internal and external financial sources to support their educational costs.

HELB Loans

Students of Kenyan nationality at USIU-Africa can apply for loans from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) as long as they meet the required criteria. Interested applicants must commence the application process by registering online to access HELB loan forms.

The Financial Aid Process

01. Fill Application Form

Applicants should download and complete the application forms for the scholarships they wish to apply for. These forms are available on the USIU-Africa Financial Aid page of the university website.

02. Form Submission

Fully completed application forms, along with all required supporting documents, should be submitted to the USIU-Africa Financial Aid Office, located at the Freida Brown Building, or emailed to [email protected]

03. Review

All submitted applications will be reviewed, and applicants who meet the eligibility criteria will be shortlisted and formally contacted by the university.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I apply for more than one scholarship?

Yes. Students may apply for more than one financial aid program depending on circumstances and eligibility.

Are Nursing and Pharmacy students eligible?

No. The Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy programs are NOT eligible for these scholarships.

Can continuing students apply?

Yes. There are specific financial aid application forms for continuing students. However, the 2026 undergraduate scholarships are primarily for first-time degree-seeking applicants who completed KCSE in 2025.

Is there an application fee?

No. USIU-Africa does not charge a fee to apply for financial aid.

When will I know if I am selected?

Award notifications will be sent in August 2026.

Can international students apply?

These specific scholarships require Kenyan citizenship. International students should contact the Financial Aid Office directly for available opportunities.
