1. Sales Clerk

Job Type: Full Time
Qualification: Diploma

Job Field: Sales and Business Development

KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare accurate daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly sales updates: daily by 10:00 a.m.; weekly on Mondays by close of business; monthly by the 3rd of the following month; quarterly by the 5th day of the first month of the following quarter.
  • Ensure 100% accurate data input for customer/sales-order information: customer/project name, location, engineer, architect, developer, installer, phone, email, quotation/invoice numbers, etc.
  • Maintain an up-to-date customer database.
  • Consolidate daily/weekly/monthly quotations, invoices, tenders, BQs and sales by product category: Concrete & Paving Blocks, Concrete Roof Tiles, Concrete Pipes, Eurocon products, Tile Adhesives and Waterproofing.
  • Manage/retain portfolio customers; prepare monthly briefs on client movements, acquisitions and inactive clients.
  • Conduct monthly/quarterly customer exit surveys (template to be shared).
  • Prepare accurate monthly customer-feedback reports (template to be shared).
  • Maintain an updated customer-complaints register (template to be shared).
  • Update daily sales-dashboard metrics: salesperson/region performance, quotations/conversions, truck turnaround, visit calls vs targets, tenders raised/submitted and BQs.
  • Generate actionable minutes accurately and promptly and circulate for action.
  • Maintain sales files with correct labelling, zero misfiling and fast retrieval.
