What you will do:

You will provide direct patient care including assessing patient conditions, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting doctors during procedures. The role involves maintaining accurate patient records, educating patients and their families on treatment plans and self-care, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. You will work in a busy ward or clinic environment where you may be responsible for multiple patients simultaneously, so strong clinical judgement and the ability to prioritise are essential. The position also involves participating in handover meetings, attending continuing education sessions, and complying with infection prevention and control protocols. Registration with the Nursing Council of Kenya and a valid practising licence are required. The facility operates on a shift system including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification in a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar position

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in relevant industry software and tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams
  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices

Applications should include an updated CV, copies of relevant certificates, and contact details of three professional referees. Hillcrest Partners offers a competitive remuneration package, medical cover, and opportunities for professional development. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
