Turkana University College, a constituent college of Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for academic and non-academic positions. The vacancies include Lecturer, Tutorial Fellow, Graduate Assistant, and Accountant II.

Academic Staff Positions
School of Science and Technology
Lecturer, Public Health – Scale XII – Ref: TUC/AC: 1/20/05/2026 – 1 Post
Qualifications:

Must have a PhD in Public Health or its equivalent in a relevant field from an accredited and recognized University

Must have at least three years teaching experience at University level or in research or in industry

Must have a minimum of twenty-four publication points, of which at least sixteen should be from refereed scholarly journals

Should be registered with a relevant professional body where applicable

School of Education and Social Sciences
Tutorial Fellow – Scale XI – Ref: TUC/AC: 2/20/05/2026 – 1 Post
Qualifications:

Must have a Master’s degree in Educational Technology or a related field from an accredited and recognized University

Should be registered for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Educational Technology or a related field

Should be registered with a relevant professional body where applicable

Graduate Assistant – Scale X – Ref: TUC/AC: 2/20/05/2026 – 1 Post
Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or a related field from an accredited and recognized University

Should be registered for a Master’s Degree in Social Sciences or a related field

Must be an alumnus of the University

Non-Academic Staff Positions
Accountant II – Scale XI – Ref: TUC/NAC:01/20/05/2026 – 1 Post
Qualifications:

Must have a Masters Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Management/Administration or its equivalent and CPA Part III, with three years’ experience as Assistant Accountant Scale 10 or its equivalent

OR Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or its equivalent and CPA Part III with nine years working experience, three of which as Assistant Accountant Scale 10 or its equivalent

Must be a registered member of a recognized professional body

Must be ICT Competent
