About Stonebridge Corp

Stonebridge Corp is a publishing and educational content company that produces textbooks, revision guides, and digital learning materials for the Kenyan school curriculum. Founded in 1996, Stonebridge is approved by the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development as a publisher of educational materials and supplies books to over 8,000 schools across the country. The company employs 120 staff including editors, designers, and sales representatives, and also operates an e-learning platform that serves over 50,000 subscribed students. Stonebridge Corp is a member of the Kenya Publishers Association.

What you will do:

You will be responsible for dispensing prescription medications, counselling patients on proper drug use and potential side effects, and maintaining pharmacy records in compliance with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board regulations. Daily tasks include verifying prescriptions for accuracy, checking for drug interactions, preparing compounded medications where necessary, and managing stock levels to prevent shortages. You will also handle insurance claims for prescription drugs, reconcile pharmacy sales, and prepare periodic reports on drug utilisation. The role requires strong attention to detail because medication errors can have serious consequences. You will work closely with doctors and nurses to clarify prescriptions and recommend therapeutic alternatives when required. A Bachelor of Pharmacy degree and registration with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya are mandatory.
