In response to many requests from parents of children in the well known and reputable Mombasa, The Mombasa Parents Club Kindergarten was founded on 13th March, 1942 Nyali Primary School was opened in January 1986 in order to provide continuity and stability in the learning process.
Nurse
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide first aid, basic nursing care and emergency response.
- Manage minor illnesses, injuries and health complaints. with appropriate referrals.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and treatment registers.
- Monitor learners with known health conditions and coordinate healthcare plans.
- Support health education, hygiene and disease prevention programmes.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Certificate in Nursing from a recognised institution.
- Registered and licensed by the Nursing Council of Kenya.
- Valid practising licence.
- First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is an added advantage.
- 2-3 years’ relevant nursing experience, preferably in a community health or similar setting.
- High level of confidentiality and professional ethics. Good knowledge of child and adolescent health.
