REREC Industrial Attachment 2026: Hands-On Training in Renewable Energy & Corporate Functions

The Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REREC) is offering industrial attachment opportunities for ongoing students from recognized Kenyan institutions. The program provides practical experience across a wide range of fields, including engineering, finance, human resources, ICT, procurement, legal, and communication, among others.

Following the enactment of the Energy Act 2019, the former Rural Electrification Authority (REA) transitioned to the Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REREC), with an expanded mandate of spearheading Kenya’s green energy drive in addition to implementing rural electrification projects.

The attachment period is strictly three (3) months and is non-renewable.

Attachment Intakes for 2025-2026

REREC operates a structured attachment program with three intake cohorts annually.
