Social Health Authority Recruits Administration Officers and Senior Assistant Office Administrators – 54 Positions Available

The Social Health Authority, a State Corporation established under the Social Health Insurance Act of 2023, has announced vacancies for Administration Officer I and Senior Assistant Office Administrator positions. The authority is seeking visionary, result-driven, and experienced professionals to join its team.
The authority has also issued a notice of cancellation for 54 Office Administrator II positions previously advertised in November 2025.

About the Social Health Authority
The Social Health Authority is mandated to provide financial risk protection for Kenyan residents by facilitating equitable access to quality healthcare. The authority administers the Social Health Insurance Fund, Primary Healthcare Fund, and Emergency, Chronic, and Critical Illness Fund in collaboration with stakeholders.

The Social Health Authority wishes to notify the general public and all prospective candidates that the advertisement for the following position, previously published in the vacancy notice dated November 18, 2025, has been canceled:
Office Administrator II – SHA Grade 8 – 54 Positions – CANCELED

Part B: Declaration of Vacancies
To enhance institutional capacity and deliver on its mandate, the SHA Board is recruiting for the following positions.
Administration Officer I – SHA Grade 7 – 47 Positions
The Administration Officer I will handle various administrative functions including records management, procurement support, office coordination, and staff supervision. Successful candidates will work under the guidance of senior administration officers.
Candidates must have relevant qualifications in business administration, public administration, or a related field, with proven experience in an administrative role.
Senior Assistant Office Administrator – SHA Grade 6 – 7 Positions
The Senior Assistant Office Administrator will provide high-level administrative support, coordinate office operations, manage schedules, and supervise junior administrative staff. This role requires significant experience in office administration and strong organisational skills.
Candidates must have relevant qualifications and a demonstrated track record in office management or senior administrative support.
