Available Positions
Gulf Energy is recruiting for the following positions. Field Security Advisor, Communications and Digital Officer, Senior Petrophysicist, Operations and Wellsite Geologists, Graduate Petrophysicist, Graduate Reservoir Engineer, Graduate Geologist, Logistics and Materials Supervisors, Project Cost Engineer, Contracts Advisor, and Dispatchers for 8 posts.
The Field Security Advisor will be responsible for overseeing security operations at field locations, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring the safety of personnel and assets. The Communications and Digital Officer will manage internal and external communications, digital platforms, and content creation to support the company brand and stakeholder engagement.
The Senior Petrophysicist will lead petrophysical evaluations, log analysis, and reservoir characterization studies to support exploration and development decisions. Operations and Wellsite Geologists will provide geological support during drilling operations, including formation evaluation, sample description, and real time decision making.
Graduate Petrophysicist, Graduate Reservoir Engineer, and Graduate Geologist positions are entry level roles designed for recent graduates with degrees in geology, petroleum engineering, or related disciplines. These roles offer training and mentorship to develop technical skills in energy exploration and production.
Logistics and Materials Supervisors will coordinate the movement of equipment and supplies, manage inventory, and ensure timely delivery to operational sites. The Project Cost Engineer will monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and provide cost forecasting and analysis for energy infrastructure projects.
The Contracts Advisor will manage contract negotiations, ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and support procurement and supply chain functions. Dispatchers for 8 posts will coordinate field operations, manage communication between teams, and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
General Requirements
Kenyan citizenship is preferred in line with local content requirements. International candidates must be eligible to work in Kenya. Applicants must possess relevant academic qualifications and professional certifications for the role. A strong work ethic and a track record of doing things well is expected. Willingness to work in remote locations where the role requires it is essential.
